I'm a young-at-heart guy who was born in 1960.  I taught myself how to play the piano using pianos at school, and started writing songs in 1982.

It can easily take 40 or more hours to write just the music and lyrics for a song, and a few songs have taken over 100 hours to write — before doing the arranging, recording, performing and mixing.  Yes, I'm a recovering perfectionist!
